Christine Anne Greenhalgh Biography
In my early career I undertook empirical research relating to labor supply, wage discrimination, changing occupational structure and vocational training in the UK. In later years I focused on the role of intellectual property and innovation in generating firm success and employment. I was an adviser to several UK government departments during my career at Oxford University, where I was eventually promoted to (Full) Professor of Applied Economics. In 2010 with a colleague, Dr. Mark Rogers, I published a textbook with Princeton University Press titled Innovation, Intellectual Property and Economic Growth.
I am now retired from the University of Oxford, but I remain linked to the university as an Emeritus Fellow of both St. Peter's College and the Department of Economics.
