Zachary Bleemer is an assistant professor of economics at Princeton University and a member of the Industrial Relations Section. He is also a faculty associate of Opportunity Insights and the Center for Studies in Higher Education at UC Berkeley. Zach is a labor economist who specializes in the economics of higher education. His recent research studies the allocative efficiency and economic mobility ramifications of educational meritocracy. Zach holds a Ph.D. in economics from the University of California, Berkeley and a B.A. in economics, philosophy, and mathematics from Amherst College.
